Creative Writing Workshop “The Exact Word” with Ana Haro at Hauser & Wirth Menorca
This fall, Hauser & Wirth Menorca, located on Isla del Rey, will host “La palabra exacta,” a creative writing workshop led by writer and journalist Ana Haro, with three sessions scheduled for September and October.
This activity explores the relationship between the gaze, silence, and the spoken word, taking the work of philosopher María Zambrano as a starting point and using the “Directionless” exhibition as its setting . Over the course of three hours, participants will walk through the exhibition in search of words, images, and stimuli that will help them delve into the creation of their own metaphors.
The workshop is open to writers of all levels, so no prior experience is necessary. It will be conducted in Spanish, and materials will be available in Catalan. It is part of Hauser & Wirth Menorca’s collaboration with the Menorca Library Network.
